Chondroitin Sulfate ( > 95% Pure) is a naturally occuring complex carbohydrate that the body produces and distributes. One of the main components of cartilage and mucosa layers, forming the connective tissue that holds muscles, nerves and blood vessels together. As such, it is a major component of the protective glycosaminoglycan (GAG) layer of the bladder.

Glucosamine Sulfate ( > 95% Pure) is found in chitin and is a naturally occuring amino sugar that the body produces and distributes. A building block of joint cartilage as well as bladder, prostate and GI protective glycosaminoglycan (GAG) layers. It also has some mild anti-inflammatory properties.

Sodium Hyaluronate ( > 95% Pure) is a natural complex sugar of the glycosaminoglycan family. Another main component of protective connective tissues, including the protective GAG layer of the bladder.

Flavonoids: are natural molecules found mostly in green plants and seeds.

Quercetin (> 95% Pure) is a natural low acidity flavonoid obtained from the saphora plant. Flavonoids such as quercetin are antioxidants. The quercetin used in CystoProtek® is obtained from the Saphora plant. Algonot decisively choose not to use the more common and less expensive source of fava beans.

Rutin (> 95% Pure) is a glycoside of the flavonoid Quercetin. Extracted from the saphora plant, is a low acidity, natural flavonoid that adds additional anti-inflammatory qualities and liberates quercetin in the intestine, making absorption easier.

Olive Kernel Oil (Unprocessed, MicroFiltered) is natural and low-acidic. This oil (a lipid) plays an important role in CystoProtek® because it is effective in helping the body to absorb chondroitin, glucosamine, quercetin, rutin and sodium hyaluronate. We use only virgin olive seed oil from the island of Crete, Greece.

Other Ingredients: Olive Kernel Oil, Pork Gelatin, sunflower lecithin, beeswax, carob in glycerin with caramel, glycerin, purified water, titanium dioxide and carob extract.

Contains: shellfish chitin (crab and shrimp).
