Why is Vitamin B12 necessary?
Knowing the facts about vitamin B12 is vital to your health. This essential micronutrient affects the development and maintenance of red blood cells, nerve cells, and normal myelination (covering) of nerve cells. It also aids in the production of DNA and RNA and the production of neurotransmitters. Roughly 1 in 3 Americans are estimated to have genetically inefficient enzymes that help create 5-MTHF (Methylated Folinic Acid) so this product will assist with that supply that is needed.

5-Methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) is the metabolically active form of folic acid. The folic acid found in food has to be digested from protein carriers or i.e. "methylated" in order to be absorbed. This process of methylation is inefficient in some individuals.

Folate and B12 are vital for remethylating homocysteine back to methionine. A coenzyme form of vitamin B12, methylcobalamin, is necessary for the enzyme methionine synthase, which catalyzes the methylation of homocysteine to methionine.

Directions: One tablet under the tongue twice daily or as recommended by your healthcare professional.
